The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary at Stonham Barns provides a great days entertainment for the whole family.

Housing over 60 beautiful owls and other birds of prey in peaceful, spacious surroundings, any visit to the Sanctuary is enhanced by the spectacular flying displays which are staged up to three times daily between Easter and the end of September - the silent glide of the Barn Owl, the 150-mph dive of the Peregrine Falcon and the awkward gait yet graceful flight of the vulture are among the many aerial sights that will take your the breath away.

Children are well catered for as the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary with a variety of Activity Adventure Days, competitions, the S.O.S. Safari, play area, mini-maze and much more to keep them entertained. In addition our Woodland Walk includes a bird hide, Red Squirrel and Chipmunk compounds (always great fun) and a dipping pond.

The Sanctuary has a number of quiet picnic areas where you can take your lunch, and the Stonham Barns facility also has a café/restaurant, garden centre, golf & fishing complex and a variety of gift shops too.

Open daily throughout the year from 10.00am onwards, full information can be found on our website at www.owl-help.org.uk or by calling 01449 711425
