Acton Hot Rod Association
Hot Rod and Custom Car club. Membership is not just restricted to Hot Rods. Any modified vehicle, as can be found in our scene, is allowed. If you are interested in the scene, you are welcome. Members come from a wide area in East Anglia, UK. We meet at the Black Horse in Stratford St. Mary, Suffolk, on the first Wednesday of every month. We attend the Braintree cruise most Wednesday evenings between March and October. Our main event is the highly successful, Mersea Motor Madness.

Bury Role Playing Society (BURPS)

BURPS started in March 2003 with a long running campaign based on the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition system.The emphasis of our group is on having fun, and rather than fixate on complex rule systems we value role-playing above all.

Bury Cannons Chess Club
Bury St Edmunds' foremost chess club, with over 40 members, ranging in age from 10 to 80. Play friendly chess over the summer and league chess in the winter. Every Thursday at Moreton Hall Community Centre, 7.30 to 10.30 pm.

Bury Knights Junior Chess Club
The leading junior chess club in Suffolk, Bury Knights caters for children aged 5 to 13. We meet every Friday in term-time at Horringer Court Middle School, Glastonbury Road, Bury St Edmunds, from 6.00 to 8.00 pm. With over 50 members, the Bury Knights have two qualifed coaches and several parents who supervise the children. Leagues, ladders, competitions and coaching all take place.

U3A is an organisation for people who no longer need to work. It is run like a university for social activities and sharing knowledge that we have built up over a lifetime. There is no pressure and no exams. We just have fun.
Hippopartymus
Hippopartymus runs holiday and term-time art workshops and parties for children. These events help to entertain school-age and pre-school age children during school holidays. All sessions are led by an experienced Primary School Teacher (and mother of two), and the workshops are mainly aimed at children up to 8 years of age (siblings are welcome too - call us).

King's Lynn O Gauge Group
KLOGG is a group of Gauge 'O' Modellers based in the King's Lynn area, with members living in various parts of East Anglia. We are also part of the West Norfolk Model Railway Circle.
Kings Lynn & West Norfolk Bike Users Group
This group was set up to campaign for better cycling facilities. We still do that but we prefer going on rides to sitting in council offices. With such easy access to the countryside can you blame us. It only takes 10 minutes to cycle from the town centre to the countryside. Rides and socials rides normally start at 10 am at Lynnsport. Rides vary from a few miles round town to longer trips of 40 miles plus. Fear not, it is NOT a race. The pace is that of the slowest and stops are as frequent as necessary (or when thirsty!). We normally have a social meeting once a month at 8 pm on the second Thursday of each month. This takes place at the Ouse Amateur Sailing Club bar in Ferry Lane, a lane just off King Street, King's Lynn.

St Edmundsbury Scale Modellers
St Edmundsbury Scale Modellers are located in the village of Horringer near Bury St Edmunds and would like to welcome all aspiring modellers. Our members build mainly scale models (not radio controlled), of aircraft, armour and cars with the occasional figure or ship making an appearance. So, if you have knowledge or experience to give, or want to improve or start in modelling, then join our model club. If we don't build what you're interested in, build it anyway and introduce diversity and this may attract other interested parties to the club.

St Ann's Garrison Roleplay Club
St Ann's Garrison Roleplay and Wargames Club is based in a large community hall in Kings Lynn. The group is is run by responsible adult volunteers all with up to date CRB checks and is aimed at a broad range of people from individuals to families with older children. The aim of the group is to offer something fun, entertaining and a little different that local people can come along to.. It doesn't matter whether you are an experienced roleplayer/wargamer or whether you've never roleplayed etc before, our sessions are friendly and informal - and new members are always welcome!

We are a private miniature table top war games club catering for miniature modellers and wargamers. We are full members of Games Workshops supported Gaming Club Network. All our committee members are CRB checked and we have a child protection policy in operation. We play miniature table top war games from Ancients through history to Modern and including fantasy, Sci Fi, Naval, Space and Futuristic games. We cater for boys and girls, men and women from 14 years old although consideration will be given to younger enthusiasts.
